Cortina d’Ampezzo (Belluno), January 15, 2022 – There will be spectators at the two days of the Women’s Alpine Ski World Cup, scheduled in Cortina d’Ampezzo (Belluno) on January 22 and 23.
Wednesday, January 12th, at the Council Hall of the Municipality of Cortina took place the meeting of the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Safety chaired by the Prefect, Dr. Mariano Savastano, meeting in which were examined all aspects related to the event, from the presence of the public to the road system.
“The public will be able to attend the Women’s FIS Alpine Ski World Cup in Cortina, although with the natural limitations due to the health situation that we are continuing to experience,” explained the secretary general of the Ampezzo event, Michele Di Gallo. “Together with the Prefect and the authorities in charge, having heard the opinion of the AULSS 1 Dolomiti, which we thank for the great attention it has shown towards our organization, we have meticulously verified every detail useful to ensure maximum safety to all the people present, from the athletes to their technicians, from the staff to the public“.
Fans and supporters, therefore, will be able to watch live the Cortina event which represents one of the most heartfelt and traditional appointments of the women’s white circus.
According to the regulations, the areas open to the public will be available at 50% of the maximum capacity: 500 people will be able to find a place in the stands, and the same number in the parterre, whose capacity has been further reduced compared to the regulations in force, for greater protection. “To access the parterre and the grandstand, you will need to be in possession of a nominal ticket, which can be purchased online, and you will also have to be in possession of a Super Green Pass and properly wear the FFP2 mask,” says Di Gallo. “We have prepared everything, from logistics to control personnel, to manage the event safely and to finally have the public in the finish area. The presence of fans and enthusiasts is, for us, a fundamental element and we hope that many will come to Rumerlo to applaud the best interpreters of world speed.”
There will be two options to watch the World Cup in the Rumerlo finish area: the parterre or the grandstand. The cost of the ticket for the parterre has been set at 10 euros while that of the grandstand, with seats, at 25 euros. The purchase of the ticket will allow free parking and free use of the shuttle service provided by the organization, in collaboration with the partners ParkforFun and Dolomitibus, as well as free use of the chairlift from Socrepes to the arrival area.
Tickets can be purchased exclusively online on the official website of the event, www.cortinaskiworldcup.com
