Green light for “snow control” on Olympia delle Tofane

FIS Gives Green Light for Cortina Audi FIS Ski World Cup on Olympia delle Tofane slope.

Saturday, January 13, during the afternoon the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) carried out the customary and mandatory “snow control,” assessing the snow cover on the racecourse. The outcome of the control was positive, paving the way for smooth preparations on the Olympia delle Tofane, which will host the three-day Women’s World Cup dedicated to speed at the end of the month and organized by the Cortina Foundation.

The schedule includes two timed runs in preparation for the downhill on Wednesday, January 24, and Thursday, January 25, both starting at 11 AM.
The first day of competitions is set for Friday, January 26, featuring the first downhill race beginning at 11 AM. On Saturday, January 27, the second downhill race kicks off at 10:30 AM.
The third and final day will take place on Sunday, January 28, showcasing the super-G, starting at 10:30 AM.
